1st and 2nd Kings were great books to study with an 11 year old boy. We had one matchbook minibook for each king of Israel and Judah. On the outside, they are numbered in order and color coded for either Judah or Israel. Inside, we put the numbers of years they reigned, whether they were good or evil, and a significant event that occurred during their reign.
